Reservoir Maps

Every club has it's own approach for the layout of racing marks and here at Pennine SC we have tried to make it as easy as possible for sailors to remember.  The marks are in alphabetical order, starting with the 'A' mark in the south westerly bay, going clockwise around the reservoir.  The only things that might catch you out is that we don't use the letter 'I' (for India) and mark 'P' is in the centre of the reservoir.

There are two areas that are out of bounds to all boats, racing or otherwise, and so must be avoided :

1. The area to the west of mark 'C' - this a nature reserve

2. The area within 10m of the dam wall - to avoid any boats hitting the wall or the reservoir overflow at the north east end of the dam
